Rich Geise is an expert salesman and talented coach with over 25 years of sales, sales management and business development experience. He has led successful sales efforts in the highly competitive technology and software fields, spanning IBM national accounts, Enterprise Resource Planning software, business application software, eLearning systems, and data quality management services. In his last corporate assignment he served as Director of North American Sales for a young data quality software company, closing contracts at Fidelity Investments, ING America and the US Secret Service, among others.
Rich’s sales record encompasses a wide spectrum of products, ranging from $18 supplies to $20 million computer systems. He has handled complex sales negotiations and presentations and developed regional markets. Whether working individually or leading a team, Rich has excelled in the sales arena. The proof is in the numbers: out of 22 years on quota, he exceeded quota for 18 years, and for seven of those years, he or his team achieved a leadership position.
Throughout his career, Rich has mastered and implemented numerous sales methodologies, but he has encountered none as comprehensive or effective as the Sandler Selling System®. He has now directed his talents and passion toward training other professionals in Sandler’s powerful methods. In addition to his extensive experience and insight into the world of sales, Rich brings with him a lifelong love of coaching that includes four years as a professional tennis coach and many years coaching his sons’ baseball and soccer teams.
